Community & Partnership Power
The fair thrives each year due to strong cross-sector collaboration. Along with Pfizer’s sponsorship, CSS partnered with schools, health systems, local government agencies, small businesses, and youth-serving organizations to reach families where support is most needed. These partnerships expanded the availability of screenings, provided dozens of volunteers, and increased the number of families connected to ongoing primary care.
Local Businesses- Old Navy- donated school supplies,
Girl Scouts of Greater Georgia- provided half a dozen volunteers.
Local Hospital Sponsorship-Piedmont Athens Regional
Local Government Agency- Mayor of Athens- Kelly Girtz, Clark County Sheriff Department, Northeast Georgia Health District DPH, Athens Regional Library System, Athens-Clark County Cadet Program, and Lay Park Community Center
